"This was an undeniably cool experience! Unfortunately, we were unable to swim in the Devil’s Pool but luckily we were able to experience the joys (and fears) of the Angel’s Pool.
The staff made sure to keep up safe and reassure us during the entirety of the experience and even got us video and photos as if we were in the waterfalls naturally.
We were also here for the high tea and absolutely loved the energy the kitchen staff had. They even allowed a special request from one of our group members to make scones which were scrumptious. Still though, their beef sliders and curry chicken canapé were absolutely amazing!"

"We enjoyed our time at Livingstone Island while visiting Victoria Falls. This is a beautiful area."

"Unlike some reviewing we had no problems paying, timing or pick up point when we went. Staff were excellent, the boat trip was exhilarating, jinking in and out off the rocky approach to the island. We had a relaxed lunch before being guided to the edge of the falls and plenty of time for photos and taking in the fantastic sights. The river was fairly low and we decided not to swim in the end."

The Thrill of Devil's Pool
Access to Devil's Pool is seasonal, typically available from mid-August to mid-January, depending on the Zambezi River's water levels. During the high-water season, the current is too strong, making it unsafe. When the water recedes, the natural rock barrier creates the calm pool. Guides are essential for this activity; they ensure swimmers are positioned safely and help capture incredible photos and videos. For those who prefer a slightly less intense thrill, Angel's Pool offers a similar, yet safer, experience.
Beyond the swim, the Livingstone Island tour itself is a remarkable experience. The boat journey to the island is often described as exhilarating, navigating through the Zambezi's currents. Once on the island, visitors are treated to stunning panoramic views of Victoria Falls and often enjoy a delicious breakfast or high tea. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness are frequently highlighted, making the entire excursion a well-rounded and memorable adventure.
