"The Freedom Statue is a worthy visit if you are in Zambia. Being that it’s located right near the National Museum I’d suggest making it part of a half-day trip.

There are local buses that drop you off right in front of the statue and it’s also very near to the long-distance bus terminal so you could drop by the Statue on your way out of town to Vic Falls or anywhere else your traveling.

Symbols of freedom in any country should be acknowledged in my opinion. So it was a nice pause to recognize that symbol in Zambia."
