"This needs an update , quite few stalls . Some interesting vendors will do for you custom made pieces but otherwise a run of the mill curio center"

"A good place to pick up a souvenir..! Beautiful artefacts anytime you walk through. Pity market only opens on Sundays.

So much to see and admire....."

"Hustling, bustling market that takes place on Sundays. It's a great place to find bargains on authentic local crafts, clothing and accessories. There were some beautiful paintings that I wanted to buy but wouldn't have been able to pack in my luggage. Awesome furniture there too. Lots of places to eat as well. Be ready to negotiate, if they think you're a tourist, they are giving you a higher price. Generally they can afford to give you at least 20 - 30 kwacha off the initial price, I even bargained items for 150K down to 100K."
