Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Parliament Buildings a worthwhile experience, appreciating the historical insights and the beautiful, well-kept grounds that even host wildlife. While access requires advance booking and photography is restricted during sessions, the helpful staff and the chance to witness national policy-making make it a recommended visit for understanding Zambia's governance. Reddit

"Visited Zambia’s National Assembly and throughly enjoyed it! The tour was really informative and the tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable.

The only critique I have is it was difficult to get the appointment to gain access for a tour.
I would like to see access made easier for people who would like to visit parliament in the future. Because this is an important institution worth seeing and learning about.

Thank you to our tour guides!"

Shaun Rogers

"It was such an experience that was worthwhile. Had applied for a tour and also to be able to witness the parliamentary sessions, not forgetting being able to have a one on one conversation with the speaker. Took a bit time to get feedback as it is a very busy place and therefore, a slot was required in order for my colleagues and I to be able to galavant the premises in an orderly manner, as well as take pictures. However we were not allowed to take pictures pr record anything once parliament commenced due to the policies they have set aside for various reasons. Our tour guides were very helpful and they helped us understand even the history behind the structure that we refer to today as the National Assembly of Zambia. Would encourage a lot of you to apply for a tour, just to have an incite of what the building is like and how everything is carried out. Knowledge is power."

"In as much as it is no place for one to just waltz right in, the place has beautiful ground and scenery.
It is well kept and if you ask me I think every Zambia should take some time to visit this place just once and have an idea of where there laws and nat budget issues are discussed."
