Part 2: Meikles Hotel has always been a place I associated with business meetings, so it was a joy to finally enjoy it in a more personal way. My family and my brother’s family had dinner together, and it was a lovely experience from start to finish.
We appreciated the complimentary dinner parking, and the warm welcome at both the reception and restaurant set the tone. We were seated at a great table that fit everyone comfortably. I enjoyed delicious lamb chops and fries, and had a taste of the catch of the day - both well-prepared.
The live music added to the atmosphere, though the instruments were a bit too loud for easy conversation. That said, the prices were very reasonable, and the wine selection was enjoyable."
