What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the unique floating restaurant experience, praising the delicious food, refreshing drinks, and lively atmosphere, especially during sunset. While many appreciate the music and service, some find the loud music uncomfortable and the prices a bit high, with a recent shift towards a more party-oriented vibe.
"Very good place to take some rest, see the sunsets, meet with friends. The food is good the service also. They have English menu and accept debit and credit cards."
László Márk Tóth
"In the middle of the river a floating bar where you can bathe. The place itself is a great and cool concept. Drinks are nice and the snacks are fine as well. In the past it was more kids friendly which isn't anymore because they changed the place to more partying stuff since it became such a hype. It saddens us a bit because my wife and I enjoyed it better when it was more for bathing than for partying. People dressed up with make up and their phones to blow up social media is the main goal for most people that come there when it was initially made for relaxing and bathing."

"Excellent food, nice cocktails, great atmosphere and music. Would definitely go back. Try the Brigadeiro de Pirarucu."

Restaurants in Manaus
This floating restaurant has an innovative menu (detox juices and exotic tapioca pancakes), trendy vibe, and complimentary stand-up paddleboards for diners to paddle out on the Rio Negro. It can get busy, especially around sunset, when good tunes enliven the bar with a party atmosphere. To avoid the crowds and sun's strongest rays, head for a morning coffee.
Manaus, Brazil: Best things to do when visiting
Abare SUP & Food puts a new twist on the idea by offering stand up paddle boarding as well as swimming for guests at their floating restaurant who want to cool off between rounds of cold beers and plates of fresh food al fresco. In 2017 the owners opened the floating Abare Hostal next door. Go on a weekend for the best party atmosphere.
Best things to do in Manaus: a guide from a Brazilian's perspective
On the same day as the tour with Seu Severino, we went to Abaré SUP & Food, a floating bar located about 40 minutes by car from the center of Manaus. We took an Uber to the entrance (following the signs, because the GPS didn’t point out the exact place). There, a boat from the bar takes you to it for a small fee.
