Reviews Summary
Anchoita offers a unique and creative gastronomic experience in Buenos Aires, praised for its innovative dishes showcasing local products, exceptional service, and an impressive wine list. While the mains are generally good, many diners highlight the standout quality of the sides and desserts. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet cozy, creating a perfect backdrop for a special meal, though securing a table can be challenging.
"Nice experience overall. Their home-made utter was surprisingly good. Liked the open kitchen in the middle of the table. Cheese / charcuiterie section was cute and gives nice vibes. Servers were smiling and kind. Food was tasty - steak was cooked perfectly as we requested, eggplant was interesting, pasta in pasta was a bit difficult to understand but still good. Will be back!"

"Upscale restaurant - if you go an hour before they open and line up for waitlist, you can probably get a table if the size is reasonable. We got a table for 4 for 8pm which is when they open.
Based on our tastebuds, the mains (meats) were pretty average but all the sides and desserts stood out. The mushrooms were divine, ice cream was super, beat salad was refreshing, onions were great, etc."

"I'm going to be a "the emperor has no clothes" person on this one. It's all decent, but nothing I'd go back for. The whole "we have no reservations until next year" is a PR game, the place never filled up, and the "hopefuls" line at the door all got seats. Sorry, but that many people didn't just fail to show up and leave tables open. Cooking and presentation were uneven, service was haphazard. And all rather expensive for what you get."
