Reviews Summary

La Casa de Los Mariscos is highly praised for its excellent value and delicious seafood, particularly the king crab and paella. Reviewers often highlight the friendly service and cozy atmosphere as major draws. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some guests have noted long wait times during peak hours, and one review mentioned concerns about the freshness of fried calamari.

"Delicious food and good prices. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended."

Ana Elizabeth Gabriel Herrera

"We went for a late lunch and it was busy, based on other reviews it seems like it always is. We had the crab/seafood stew and it was good, big portions and a good variety of seafood. I think the price was fair, compared to other places we've tried in town. I don't think it'll be a dish I remember, but it was a solid meal."

Jake T-A

"Made a reservation on WhatsApp which was easy at 730pm. It becomes crowded from 8pm onwards. The king crab stews were really expensive and didn't know what to order. My choices were king crab sorrentinos, salmon sorrentinos or seafood stew. I went for the king crab sorrentinos even though the server recommended the salmon one. It was alright but nothing mindblowing. Saw many tables ordering the fried calamari. But there was 1 table that also ordered that and complained that it wasn't fresh and cancelled the rest of their orders and left. The hake dish looked good. For dessert I had the calafate berry ice cream which was ok."

Another excellent seafood option is the Casa de los Mariscos. The menu is simple and the restaurant is small (definitely book) but the centolla fueguina (king crab in a white wine sauce) is amazing. If you would prefer something other than seafood, try the Bodegón Fueguino which serves homemade pasta and good roast lamb as well as seafood.
