"Our experience at Olivetti could not have been more perfect. Everything was spot on, from the food to the service and the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and managed the service beautifully even though it was a busy day early in the week.
We started with the Sour Roger cocktail, their take on an amaretto sour with rum, and it was flawless. Tonny, the bartender, crafted it with such skill and paired it with a genuinely kind approach that made us feel welcome right away.
There were two of us, and we decided to go for the set menu, which turned out to be the best choice. Portions were generous and every dish was packed with flavour. The blue swimmer crab cannoli, fried burrata with sourdough, and gnocco fritto were a dream combination, and we happily cleaned our plates.
For pasta, we shared the Overnight Osso Bucco, and wow. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The flavours were bold and unforgettable, and I would happily return just for that dish alongside a glass from their excellent wine list.
For the secondi, we had the O’Connor’s scotch cooked to a perfect medium rare, served with twice cooked potatoes that were crisp, tasty, and more than satisfying. And though we were already full, we had to try the limoncello tiramisu. It was the perfect finish, light yet rich, with that lemon curd lifting it to another level.
The whole experience was made even better by Guada and the rest of the team, who were attentive, smooth, and warm throughout. The food came at just the right pace, the service flowed effortlessly, and we never felt rushed.
Olivetti is hands down one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the best. The space itself is beautiful with plenty of seating, but I’d definitely recommend booking in advance. If I could give more stars, I would."
