The staff is really lovely and service is super fast in comparison to the people they were serving on the night. One of the only few places open in off peak autumn season when we visited. "16th &18th July: Came here for lunch. Food is yum! Wait staff don't smile much here (after 3 visits they're pretty consistently not smiley). Had pork ribs which fell off the bone and was polished off in seconds by the family. Lamb backstrap was a smidge dry but still delish. Toasted ham and brie cheese baguette was good.
The whole ordering system is still a bit messed up. If you want to order cafe food you gotta order up top at the cafe, if you want pub food you've got to scan QR code. If you want cold beverages you go downstairs BUT if you want hot chocolate you gotta order at cafe. Very convoluted. But food is YUM. The chef with awesome hat smiles and made me so happy! 🥰
13th July: Came to Frying Pan Inn for the first time, between lunch/dinner at around 3:30pm. It was a bit confusing trying to figure out where to order some snacks and where to get the hot chocolate (different tills within the building). I also learnt after trying to order at the till that I can't order food (at the bar) without providing a table number, which caused extra walking around the complex back to my table. This was difficult as I was sore from riding/falling. You can also order food at the table via a QR, which I'm not a fan of.
Chips and hot chocolate was nice. Pick up hot chocolate at the till and hot chips got delivered to the table (thank goodness)."
