Reviews Summary
sAme sAme Brisbane is celebrated for its creative Thai fusion cuisine and vibrant atmosphere, making it a must-visit dining destination. Guests frequently praise the outstanding flavors and attentive service. However, some diners find the restaurant can be quite loud, and the seating arrangement can feel cramped during busy periods.
"I’ve been to sAme sAme twice now and had Mae as our sever - she always has the best recommendations, very attentive & is so sweet!
The menu is quite small for non seafood eaters but everything is delicious. My friends and I always get the same things: Ka-Soo Sai Moo, Chicken Baos, Crispy Pork Belly Pad See Ew, Grilled Wagyu Beef Brisket, Massaman Curry, all the sides and Mango Sticky Rice!
Portions sizes are perfect, flavours are yummy and very well priced <3"

"I love Thai food, and this Thai fusion spot truly hits all the right notes for me!
We were especially impressed with the Smaller Plates:
• Grilled Wagyu Ox Tongue with Betel Leaves: Incredibly tender and beautifully seasoned - flavourful without being overly salty.
• Lon of Spanner Crab: Served in a crab shell with a delightful surprise side of prawn crackers. The crackers were crispy and not too greasy - a great pairing.
For Mains:
• Stir-Fried Asian Greens: I initially expected a mix of vegetables, but it turned out to be just bok choy.
That said, it was one of the best I’ve had — full of crunch and that irresistible wok hei aroma. I appreciated that they honoured my request for less oil.
• Massaman Beef Cheek Curry: I’ve had a few Massaman curries and this one stood out for the incredibly tender beef cheek.
However, I felt the curry sauce itself was a little lacking, both in quantity and in presence - it was overpowered by a generous amount of deep-fried taro, which felt excessive. A lighter touch with the taro would have allowed the curry to shine.
I requested extra curry sauce to better enjoy it with rice and the staff kindly assisted with that.
The only downside was the longer wait between the starters and mains, but overall, the quality and freshness of produce and cooking techniques were excellent."

The service is kind and attentive, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. A place where every little detail adds to the feeling of a special night out."
