What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Settimo by Guy Grossi offers a vibrant Italian dining experience with a lively atmosphere and breathtaking city views. Guests rave about the authentic flavors, particularly the exceptional pasta dishes and the famously large tiramisu. While the ambiance and friendly service are highly praised, some diners note that portions can be small and the restaurant, being within a hotel, can sometimes feel that way. The chairs have also been mentioned as uncomfortable by some patrons.
"Come here for dinner with some friends and really enjoyed the atmosphere here, it's cozy place with good view of brisbane city.
The staff that serve us was very friendly, fun and helpful. We tried some kind of food and we really love the pasta, the octopus as appetizer and the tiramisu is a highlight!"

"It was a rainy day in Brisbane and my friend and I wanted to go somewhere close. Settimo is inside the Westin hotel on Mary Street it would keep us nice and dry. We were pleased with the food and service. My friend ordered eggplant and I had tagliatelle with beef shins. Wine and dessert rounded out our meal. Generous portions. The tiramisu in particular was HUGE! (See pic where they sliced at table). Service was just the right amount of attentive. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it does feel like a restaurant inside a hotel. A tip re the tip: Australian credit card machines don't have tip option when paying. You have to write down an amount on the receipt and that's what the server enters into the machine for you to then pay. We didn't realize this, being from Canada, so ended up paying and not leading a receipt (no cash either). The tipping culture is very different in AU. I prefer it as service is consistently good and they don't feel entitled to get 20% tip."

"Overall the vibes were quite nice at the restaurant it had good atmosphere and very nice decor. Service was great as well. Personally for me the food was ok but the portion sizes were a little smaller than what I anticipated."
