What Travellers Say

Reviews Summary

Miss Margarita is consistently praised for its delicious Mexican food, vibrant atmosphere, and friendly, attentive staff. Reviewers rave about the generous portion sizes and the quality of the cocktails, especially the margaritas. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some patrons find the servings a bit small for the price and occasionally wish for more authentic Mexican flavors.

"Really really good food, great cocktails and the staff are all legends. Highly recommended.
Have come here very often recently but haven’t got many photos, but the portion sizes are always great for the price as well."

Bodhi Csutoros

"Delicious lunch at Miss Margarita 🌮

Visited Miss Margarita last month for a relaxed afternoon lunch and had a great experience. We ordered the Wagyu beef fajitas and chicken quesadillas — both were absolutely delicious! The beef was tender and full of flavour, while the quesadillas were perfectly cheesy and satisfying.

The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the overall vibe was laid-back and welcoming. Great spot for tasty Mexican food and good times. Definitely looking forward to coming back!"

Ziyad Alkhalaf

"Love this Mexican restaurant so much!
Every time we visit Byron Bay, it’s our go-to lunch spot.
The portions are generous and the flavor is just perfect — exactly what I enjoy!
It does get busy during the tourist season, but totally worth the wait.
Every friend we’ve brought here has loved it, even those trying Mexican food for the first time!
Highly recommend for all Mexican food lovers!"

It’s why we’ve included on the list The Wild Rose Cocktail from Rae’s, Brookies G&T from St Elmo’s and the subtle blend of mescal tequila and fresh lime which is the Miss Margarita classic cocktail.
