If your looking to celebrate or have a decadent afternoon, letting them choose jelly beans instead of fruit at Dessert Castle may be the way to go. There’s also a grassy area directly across from the shop with heaps of room to run around a few good shady benches.

They may have reduced their offering, however they still know how to do it right. They once used Adore, but switched to Chamellia from Sydney a while back. They brew the leaves at a specific time and temperature depending on the blend and serve the pot with the leaves out so you are in no danger of over steeping your leaves and drinking bitter tea.

The Cupping Room – Cnr London Circuit & University Avenue, Civic. Catering for both the corporate city crowd and uni students, you have to make consistently good, well priced coffees, and that’s something The Cupping Room takes seriously.

A concept cafe conceived by the crew at ONA Coffee specialty roasters is a popular spot among the bearded and nose-ringed crowds. Grab one of their signature brews and enjoy a sago and chia pudding with lychee and strawberries.

Braddon is a hub of activity with cafes and restaurants, including Gather. It’s a hip cafe frequented by locals, staff from local businesses and public servants, and members of one of the nearby gyms.
