What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
WHITE CHACO is celebrated for its fusion Asian cuisine, with many praising the rich and flavorful ramen broths and the delicious popcorn chicken. The cozy ambiance and friendly service are also highlighted. However, some find the small indoor space can feel cramped, and service can be slow during peak times, with occasional issues like a door that doesn't close properly affecting the dining experience.
"Came here on a Sat night without a booking (recommended), and managed to get a table outside. Ramen is delicious, especially the chaco black and roasted garlic. Broth is rich and tasty, without the MSG feeling. Popcorn Taiwanese chicken was yummy too. Will come back!"

"We had a booking at White Chaco, and the place was already packed and very busy since it’s quite small with limited seating. We were seated outside with heaters, which was fine. There seemed to be only one person running the whole floor. Taking bookings, serving, and managing everything so it’s understandable that it took a while to get menus, place our order, and eventually receive our food. The food itself was pretty average. I wasn’t expecting a wow factor, just something tasty and flavourful, but it didn’t really hit the mark. It’s not really a bad experience, but not one I’d rush back for."

"This was my second time visit to White Chaco, and after eating other ramen places in town... this one is definitely one of my favourite! I particularly love the thick broth, very well blended with other ingredients. It is not too much, not too fatty, just in a perfect balance!
The ambience is great, a nice place to have a casual but romantic dinner. The service js great too.
Highly recommended for those who keen on having fusion japanese food, they also have some chinese food in the menu (I have never tried them, I am here for the ramen 😆). Not my go-to for authentic ramen, but they indeed are on top of my ramen list in Canberra!"
