"We came to Mexicana for dinner before the Gutsy Girls film festival at the Jetty Theatre and it was really great! This little gem is just what the Jetty strip has been missing. The classic margaritas were delicious and they also had a large range of tequilas served on the rocks which was a pleasant surprise so I had one of these as well. All the food was super tasty and well presented but the standouts for me were the jalapeño poppers, the chorizo quesadillas and the pork nachos (we were scraping the bottom of the bowl to get the very last pieces). The tunes they were playing also gave the place a fun vibe. We had a pretty short turn around as we had to get to the film festival and the food came out fast which was great. We’ll definitely be back soon!"
