What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Green Pantry Cafe is often praised for its friendly staff, delicious coffee, and healthy food options, particularly its vegan choices. However, some patrons have experienced significant wait times for their orders, and a few have found the coffee quality to be inconsistent. The cozy atmosphere and outdoor seating are frequently highlighted as positives.
"Absolutely love this place! Their bulletproof coffee is amazing, and the gluten-free brownie was absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Plus, if you’re into organic products, they have an incredible selection—fresh fruits and veggies, natural skincare, and so much more. It’s like a little organic supermarket with everything you could need. Such a cool spot, highly recommend!"

"Sorry for the 1 star but whoever is managing this cafe has got no idea how to run a cafe! This place is probably suited most for people who have got nothing else to do and are happy to wait for 45 mins for ready-to-eat bowls and sandwiches to be served. We had to wait 45 mins for a bowl that was in the fridge (ready to go), then realised they forgot our order completely. We then asked them to warm it up and we still got it as cold as possible.
Understand you are probably trying to create jobs for younger individuals, but they also need to be trained up on customer service etc."

"Slow service and questionable coffee. Unfortunately coffee was terrible. We ordered two smoothies $10 each. They tasted bland and were not drank. We were told after we were served them they taste bad with milk. We were offered honey in it & just made it worse."

The Green Pantry does amazing coffee art using Stash brand locally roasted coffee – they also stock Bred Co’s pastries and make the ubiquitous city fave, Buddha bowls. Green Pantry also don’t supply single-use coffee cups (a move we love) so be sure to bring your own if you want takeaway. Also nearby, Mrs Jones is a family-friendly joint in the old butter factory, a bit posher than some cafés.
