Set just off the main street in Margaret River, Drift Cafe is cute with a homely vibe. The cabinet at the counter is full of delightful raw treats and healthy food options, offering a wonderful range of fresh cold pressed juices and smoothies from their juice and café bar. They make their own delicious zucchini bread, almond milk, cashew milk and gluten free bread - lovingly serve by the owners Colin and Gaye.

Brookwood Estate is a contemporary Australian restaurant that offers a selection of vegetarian dishes, and Drift Cafe MR is a cozy café with a variety of vegetarian menu options. Rustico at Hay Shed Hill is a Mediterranean-style restaurant with a diverse range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. When the busy main street is packed, Drift is a perfect hideaway that often goes unnoticed by the tourist crowds. Pro tip: order a side of the house made potato rosti and prepare to have your socks knocked off.

I can’t not order it – it’s ridiculously good, and I always get it with bacon and a side of mushrooms.
