What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wild at Heart Cafe is lauded for its incredible atmosphere, cozy and welcoming vibe, and friendly staff, rivaling some of the best cafes. Guests rave about the delicious breakfast and brunch options, particularly the salmon eggs Benedict and falafel platter. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention that some cakes can be slightly dry and serving sizes for certain dishes might be a bit small for the price.
"This place has incredible atmosphere, cosy, welcoming and to be honest in a fair competition with some of the best cafes in Perth! I loved the coffee so much but more so I loved the Chamomile cake which I never have had it before and now I have to search for it in Perth! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the cafe had a great vibe. At the back of the cafe there is a lovely couch set with tasteful lighting that you don’t want to leave the place. Wild at Heart team well done! You truly raised the standard of the cafe’s experience by order of magnitude."

"This is a nice eatery along Brockman Street in Pemberton. Stopped here on our way to Margaret River from Albany and had a really nice lunch. Opening hours are 8am to 2.30pm daily. Menu features a nice range of savoury cafe dishes along with a few sweet bites. Portion sizes just fine, prices reasonable while service was friendly and timely.
On the occasion we tried their House Made Falafel plate which came with roasted cauliflower, hummus flatbread with couscous. This was a surprisingly good healthy dish. Sausage Roll served was also very nice, flaky outside, succulent and flavourful on the inside. This was a really good lunch, one we would gladly repeat if looking for a lunch stop while driving through Pemberton again in the future."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wild at Heart Café is such a lovely spot! The breakfast was amazing — the flavours and combinations in the dishes were so well done. Their sourdough loaf is absolutely worth coming back for, and even the babycino looked fantastic. I also loved the atmosphere, with lots of beautiful plants inside that made the space feel warm and inviting. The staff were genuinely lovely, warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. A wonderful café all around!"

Corrie and the team will give you plenty of ideas on things to do in Pemberton, but we’d definitely suggest kicking off your day with a coffee at Wild At Heart. From there you can choose to spend the day exploring other local wineries like Picardy, Lost Lake and Hidden River Estate—just be sure to call ahead, as some only open on weekends—or you could head outdoors and go for a walk at Beedelup Falls or Cascades, muster some courage and climb the massive Gloucester Tree or lay down a picnic rug at Big Brook Dam. There’s also the Lavender & Berry Farm, which we’re told does the best hot chocolate in the region, and eateries like Jaspers and Treehouse Tapas & Winebar if you’re chasing a feed.
The best things to do in Pemberton
Cafe, deli, pantry – Wild at Heart Cafe has everything you might be craving all under the same roof. The cafe’s kitchen is serving up classics for the savoury traditionalists, like bacon butties and a smoked salmon eggs Benedict, and for the more sweet-toothed among you there’s a peaches and cream brioche french toast (get the pistachio crumble on top, trust us!). Take your favourite jar of preserve or chutney from the cafe menu home with you from the pantry section or get something delicious to take home for dinner later from the deli.
