Reviews Summary
Embla is celebrated for its exceptional food and extensive, interesting wine list, all served in a moody, industrial-chic atmosphere. Diners rave about unique dishes like the soured cucumbers and the knowledgeable staff. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some find certain dishes to be a bit too acidic or salty.
"As a tourist to be able to enjoy such a lovely ambiance at dinner was excellent, the restaurant is using lighting to set the moods and incorporating natural elements ie wood to set up the atmosphere.
To start with we had the bread, Tuna and clams for the main course we had TBone steak and Trout , a side dish of spaghetti with pistachios (this was really special). The food was deliciously presented and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we were too full to try any desserts. The service was very attentive indeed.
Will definitely go back again when I am in Melbourne and recommending to all my friends !"

"On one of our final days visiting Melbourne, we wanted to tried some wine bar dining. We heard great things about here and let’s say it didn’t disappoint!
Both my fiancé and I had an amazing evening. From the food, which every dish was a standout. The service was very warm and welcoming. Wish I remember the name of our host, but he was very helpful with suggesting how many dishes we should order from the menu. The same could be said about the wine, where he had a great knowledge of the wine.
The highlight dish for me was the tuna with radicchio, something I don’t see on menus usually. The Vonglole and chicken breast were cooked and seasoned to perfection.
We hope to visit again when we come back down to Melbourne. Thanks for the great hospitality!"

"We had the Lunch Set Menu and it was the perfect amount of food, pretty light but still filling. The rainbow trout was perfect! Everything was well balanced. I deeply recommend"
