What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kazuki's Restaurant is highly praised for its innovative Euro-Japanese tasting menus, impeccable service, and elegant ambiance, offering a memorable fine dining experience. While many rave about the creative dishes and attentive staff, a few diners found some flavor combinations to be unbalanced or dishes not meeting expectations for the price point.
"Beautiful and creative food fusion, their dishes are harmoniously combined both Western and Japanese ingredients. Their famous squid ink butter is my addiction.
Cozy ambience. Nice friendly staff.
I've read their story about how they came to highly competitive Melbourne from regional Daylesford and made their presence until now. I wanted to go their to try new fine dining place for a friend catch up and supported the business. Highly recommend."

"We had a 7-course tasting menu, but unfortunately, many of the dishes were below average. Some were overwhelmingly sour or sweet to the point where I couldn’t help but scrunch my face. The King shrimp with squid ink was served cold and felt overly greasy. While I enjoyed the duck, parts of it were so chewy that I had to spit some out. Both desserts felt like a random mix of flavors that didn’t complement each other. Overall, it didn’t feel worth the price for a fine dining experience. That said, the staff and service were excellent."

"Kazuki’s has been in the list for a longgg time so super excited to finally try it. It didn’t disappoint! Located on Lygon St but once you enter through the nondescript door, you’ll be transported to a cosy, intimate dinner and greeted by staff with a familiarity of an old friend. Service was relaxed so we get to enjoy our dinner and food was amazinggg. Everything was great but I especially love the entrees - would like highly recommend."
