Reviews Summary
Maha Restaurant offers a creative take on Middle Eastern fine dining, with many diners praising its bold flavors, attentive service, and stylish ambiance. Standout dishes like the lamb shoulder and hummus are frequently mentioned, though some reviewers find the experience to be overhyped or the value for money questionable, with occasional critiques of the lighting and pacing of courses.
"My gosh.
Dining here was an absolute delight.
We walked in on Sunday afternoon for lunch and weren’t quite sure what to expect. We were warmly welcomed and taken through the menu options by the lovely Scarlett.
They had a vegan specific menu and we were able to do the set menu with one vegan and one regular which was fab!
The flavours of these dishes were incredible. Bold, well balanced and some surprising taste combinations that just worked! Side note, that hummus 🤤
My partners favourite dish was the lamb shoulder and I would say the hummus was a stand out - as well as the dessert! We ordered the baklava ice cream sandwich on top of the included desserts and my goodness - do yourself a favour people, get the baklava ice cream sando!! 11/10!!
On top of the insanely delicious dishes, we received quite possibly the best service from Scarlett. Warm, friendly, attentive, and talked through everything with such knowledge and detail.
Thanks you for a beautiful dining experience, and helping to make my partner’s birthday special ✨"

"We had lunch at Maha restaurant in Melbourne CBD and it was absolute perfection. We ordered some starters to share and particularly loved the beef dumpling dish. We then decided to share our mains as well- the slow cooked lamb shoulder, wagyu beef, duck and snapper. Each flavour was more tantalising than the next. Our cocktails and mocktails were perfectly paired to enhance the flavours.
Maha has a lovely moody ambiance and the interior styling is a dream. The only thing I would have liked more would be a small table light to help with reading the menus.
But next time I visit, I’ll know what dishes to order. I highly recommend Maha."

"Loved our lunch here, we really enjoyed the escape it provided from our work day, the lower light inside allowed for nice setting with the gold flecks in the decor giving allegiance.
We will be back to enjoy the menu other amazing options that were on the menu. Highly recommend finishing with a coffee and Turkish donuts!"
