"Love, love, love the humbug experience! Our go-to for exciting and flavoursome food matched with unbeatable service. We’re spoilt to have such elevated dining in our home town of Newcastle. Steph and Mike have thought of every detail with a beautiful atmosphere and fantastic soundproofing. We had my bridal shower here last year and they catered amazingly to the large group and numerous dietary requirements. We were blown away with the care taken and options available. We keep coming back again and again for date nights, birthdays, anniversaries. Can’t get enough!"

"Charlotte took really good care of us and made sure we had an amazing night celebrating my husband's birthday. She was quite informative and helpful. She was also quite knowledgeable with wine selections and suggestions. The team also added a sparkler on our desert plate. It's the small things that made our night really special. We ordered the "Feed Me" option and the food tasted amazing and portions and dishes were just right. There were 8 dishes all up we added an extra meal. Price point is perfect for what you receive! We highly recommend this restaurant. Keep it up Humbug, we love what you have created!"

"Our favourite go to for special event dining, birthdays, out of town visitors and just because. As always Steph and Mike were the best hosts/chef/front-of-house combo, and were incredibly welcoming and delightfully friendly. For a full multi course lunch with wine we paid about $95/person and everything was superb! Wine list, especially the Inzolia by Majama was also excellent. We will be back xx"
