Reviews Summary
Social Hideout is frequently praised for its stunning, Instagram-worthy decor and unique, visually appealing dishes, making it a popular spot for photos and celebrations. However, some diners find the food quality and taste to be average or disappointing, especially considering the price, and customer service can be inconsistent.
"Went here for a little get together with some girlfriends for a happy celebration. Chose the place purely for the aesthetics, but turns out the food is also really delicious. The drinks, mock tails and milkshakes were what we ordered, were so good and they provide access to water too. It’s beautifully decorated, cannot go wrong with that flower wall. Such a great vibe. They do have baby chairs but probably not the place for lots of little kids. Seating provides ample space for small parties, mine was a little large but we made do anyway 💁🏻♀️
The taro pancakes were sooo good - honestly anything from the sweets menu would be perfect for people with a sweet tooth. Portions of meals were fairly large and filling. Honestly, cannot wait to visit again, just to try other things on the menu."

"The aesthetics were nice. Took some wonderful photos. A female staff was nice when she served our food and collected our plates. Other than that, the other customer service was lacking a bit. The taro hotcake was pretty good, not too sweet or heavy. I liked the little bits of lychee embedded throughout it as well as the taro cream. Enjoyed my matcha latte too. The lamb mousakka Benedict was flavoursome, just the sourdough at the base was too hard to eat for me. Liked the egg of the hikiniku omuretsu. Nice place if like to take photos for the instagram or if work nearby to grab quick coffee or drink/ lunch on the go. 💕🌷"

"Social Hideout is definitely one of the most Instagram worthy cafes in Parramatta! The decor is stunning, making it a great spot for photos. The service was excellent. staff were friendly and attentive. The food was beautifully presented, but taste wise, it was just average. Portions were on the smaller side, and the prices felt a bit high for what you get. Still, it’s a lovely place for a catch-up or a special occasion if you’re after aesthetics and good service."
