Reviews Summary
Shui Subiaco is lauded for its stunning modern Asian fusion ambiance and generally delicious share plates, with many diners praising the 'feed me' banquet option for its excellent value and variety. "Been to shui multiple times with my boyfriend and it is by far our FAVOURITE restaurant in Perth!! Came here today for my boyfriend’s birthday and it of course did not disappoint. We were also served by Ryan throughout the night who just made the whole experience ten times better!! So kind, attentive & full of personality, will without a doubt be back 🫶🏼"

"An amazing Sunday lunch had at Shui enjoying the banquet option. This is excellent value with a great spread of dishes across the menu and they all were amazing. From the prawn cracker, the jus of the wood fired pork belly and the trio of spectacular desserts to finish. This was a great way to spend a lazy lunch."
Jo Food
"The food overall didn’t meet expectations for the price point. Though, the atmosphere is lovely — warm, inviting, and with excellent service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the drinks were a real highlight
The crudo didn’t taste fresh, with a sauce that overpowered the fish.
The beef dumplings had good texture and filling, though the sauce was overly salty and very similar in flavour to the crudo.
The Dan Dan noodles were the most confusing — not only missing the expected nuttiness, spice, and chew, but they also included roast pork belly and prawns, which felt out of place. The end result was more like a stir-fry or Pad Thai/pasta than a true Dan Dan.
The cucumber side was refreshing but could have used a sour/tangy lift.
The beef tataki was too thickly sliced, which made it quite chewy, and the rice puffs had gone soggy, adding little texture.
There’s great hospitality here and the setting is excellent, but the menu could benefit from more balanced flavours, clearer nods to traditional dishes, and closer attention to texture. Small refinements would make the dining experience much stronger."
