Reviews Summary
Burnt Orange is lauded for its stunning harbour views and elegant atmosphere, making it a popular spot for high tea and special occasions. While many praise the delicious food and attentive service, some reviews mention the food being overpriced or inconsistent, with one reviewer finding the high tea treats disappointing.
"I recently photographed a beautiful wedding day at Burnt Orange Mosman and wanted to share what an absolute hidden gem this place is!
Nestled amongst the lush greenery of Mosman, a beautiful sandstone building overlooking Sydney Harbour, complete with the garden area for ceremonies too.
The Burnt Orange team were amazing on the day, taking care of the couple and their guests, along with the food, dancing, service and atmosphere! What a vibe!
I have been back for the high tea with my family, and cannot wait to visit again soon!"
Nikki Harris
"This restaurant is just such a wasted opportunity. The location and atmosphere are wonderful, but the food is so pretentious, overpriced and not even good quality - the pasta was gluggy, it feels like it was pre cooked and re heated - the portion sizes are ridiculous for the price - the menu is terrible in my opinion. It's been like this for as long as I've known the place. Just wish one day they could change ownership - there's so much potential."
Deinyon Davies
"Loved the decor and views from Burnt Orange. The daily lunch special was not only good value but tasty, decent sized and the dessert included in the lunch special was particularly generous and delicious!
If you'd like an alcoholic drink with the daily lunch special, it cost an extra $5.
Very enjoyable lunch in beautiful surroundings."
