"Upon arrival, despite having a booking we had to wait in line. It was 7.30pm on a Tuesday and there were approx 5 groups/couples in front who all had resevations. I don't expect this from a restaurant that requires reservations. To me, this indicates both a lack of organisation and bad customer service. Also the music was pretty loud.
The food was nothing special. First dish was beef tataki, this was the only dish that was decent. The sashimi was not fresh. The soft shell crab temaki had a really heavy sauce/mayo, I could barely taste the crab. The teriyaki kingfish collar is just grilled fish. There was no wow factor at all, the sauce is just any sauce you get at a regular Japanse restaurant. The cabbage was cabbage, with some ponzu sauce you get anywhere again.
Overall, my experience was underwhelming with mediocre food."
