What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kazzi Beach Greek offers a prime beachside location and authentic Greek flavors, with many praising the delicious octopus and grilled meats. However, some diners find the prices high and service inconsistent, with one severe complaint about food quality and hygiene.
"Great place to eat. The food I'd delicious with a nice atmosphere. The salads are fantastic. Flavourful and healthy."
Sam Zughbaba
"The souvlaki wraps are AMAZING, they come with a side (Greek salad or chips). We had the Greek salad and it was filling and delicious! Although very good Greek food, we found it a bit expensive (28$ + 10% weekend surcharge for one person)."
Eleonora Ferro
"Aged salad with cockroach- disgusting!
We went on recommendation to Kazzi for my birthday. I ordered the grilled prawns with the halloumi and fig salad. When the meal arrived the salad looked aged and the prawns were dry, chewy and tasteless. I salted and lemoned them and wanted to enjoy the experience in any event. However what happened next made this impossible. Toward the end of my meal I noticed there was a cockroach in my salad - it looked either fried or drowned in oil. I spat the food out of my mouth! Disgusting! I was shocked and could barely speak. When I whispered to the waitress there was a cockroach in my salad she ignored me and I thought perhaps she had not heard me. I realised later that she had heard. No one came to assist. As we awkwardly stood waiting eventually the manager said quietly that had all been taken care of. It was clear he wanted me to leave as quickly and quietly as possible. I wasn’t charged but I was not in the same position as when I had arrived. I felt sick and in shock. The rest of my day was ruined. This was a very distressing and disgusting experience. I would not wish this experience on anyone.
Post script.
The owner’s response below is untrue and false. It is aimed at discrediting the review with false statements about me and the events and distracting from the serious health issue."
