What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Marmor offers a sophisticated fine-dining experience with a focus on prime Australian beef and fresh seafood, praised for its delicious food and attentive service. Diners particularly love the land and sea fusion dishes, beautiful presentation, and the stunning city and ocean views. While most find the experience exceptional, some note that prices are on the higher side, and occasionally dishes might be perceived as slightly bland if one prefers very salty food.
"First year anniversary was super special for us. The food that came out of the kitchen was brought together by chefs from all around the world with a vast array of experiences, visions and specialties. It showed in the food presented to us and it was a true honour to be there to experience it all. Our main waiter, Nico, made our night with his top-tier hospitality and determination to ensure everything was perfect throughout dinner. We will 100% be back and could shout from the rooftops our recommendation for everyone to get along to experience the magic or Marmor."

"First time at Marmor, expectations where high.Walking in through the
two doors and being greeted by a Wine and Meat display was a nice touch which only raised our expectations once again. Having been greeted and seated our dinner experience began. Our waiter for the night was excellent, very pleasant, nicely attentive and informative regarding to our meals. We ordered the burnt butter leek which was very nice, followed by a cold seafood platter for 2 which was slightly under whelming , ready peeled king prawns nice, rock oysters nice, a tuna type cervicha excellent, marinated mussels nice but the bugs where disappointingly small.Overall fresh and served cold but small for a platter. We also had side dishes of a tomato salad (basic tomato with basic dressing) French bean salad which was basic green beans but the dressing impressed both of us. The wine and cocktails where what one would expect Excellent! , the dessert was excellent!. Atmosphere was relaxing , quiet and enjoyable. The decor was nice but tables could do with white table cloths to dress up the place. Love Open air type kitchens, were you can see all the kitchen staff and Chefs at work .Must say very relaxed ,which was pleasing to see and the Head Chef in full control and also very calm. So overall very pleasing Dinner experience ,definately worth a visit when in Townsville."

"What a great night we had yesterday!
We were very well taken care of, the service was lovely, very attentive and helpful, and the drinks were not only delicious but also beeeeautifully presented.
As for the food, honestly… I’m usually a bit picky, but I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything we tried was amazing! The duck ravioli and burrata were a 10/10, I loved the steak and the fish, and oh my… The portobello was to die for! It’s also worth mentioning the chocolate tart so so yummy!
Such a great first experience, I hope to be back soon!"
