Reviews Summary

Maharaja Passau is frequently lauded for its authentic North Indian cuisine, with many reviewers praising its flavors and the quality of vegetarian options. The staff is consistently described as friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. While most experiences are positive, some guests have noted that the prices can be on the higher side and there are occasional issues with extras like raitha for biryani not being included.

"Finally, a good Indian restaurant in mainland Europe. I've tried Indian restaurants in Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, and Denmark, and none of them match how good the ones in the UK are. But this restaurant was as good, great tasty food especially for vegetarian food choices. I work in passau quite regularly and would definitely eat here again. The waiter spoke great English, too, thankfully, and they had an English menu."

"Tastes fine , not too good and not too bad. You have to pay for drinking water even for the tap water. Rest is fine, service is good. I have been travelling across Europe, normal tap water is never paid anywhere but yes mineral water is always paid across Europe. And food tastes fine, so if someone diet is not to finish entire food, I always ask before ordering if they do packing for the left-over food. As always we can’t waste food and money."

"Food quality is ok. I am a vegetarian so my assessment is based on veg side of food. I usually like their paneer naan, paneer butter masala, and palak kofta. Staffs are very friendly and do their best to cater to your individual preferences. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but everywhere in Passau this is the same story. All in all, one of the best Indian restaurants in Passau (we don’t have many choices ;) ).Definitely worth trying!"
