Reviews Summary
Bar do Armando is a historic and vibrant spot in Manaus, praised for its lively atmosphere, especially with live music on weekends and charming outdoor seating. Diners enjoy the authentic local experience and cold beers, though some note potential issues with air circulation inside and limited beer options. While many appreciate the friendly service, a few have reported frustratingly slow or inattentive service, particularly indoors, and one review mentioned an overcharging incident.
"It is a very nice bar with outdoor tables. The service is excellent. We got the best food and drinks though we do not speak Portuguese. You can also enjoy the activities and programs of the center square while drinking."

"Amazing place with mind blowing ambience
This is really a place a person would look for to sip a beer enjoying a football match. Lovely sitting with great interiors that gives that retro look of 90s pubs. Cool music with good staff. The only missing thing is the air conditioner as it was really hot to sit inside this place in peak summers but the vibes will make you forget all your worries"

"This place is good for cold beer.
It sucks that management allowed Bohemia to limit the beer options. No more Eisenbahn or Stella Artois. High employee turnover affects food quality and service. It's too hot to sit inside and air circulation is limited, better to sit outside.
There are plenty of food options in the surrounding areas and from the wandering street vendors so there is no reason to eat the substandard bar food here.
Once the band starts the music is always horrible and way too loud, more reason to sit outside away from the doors or leave. They also charge an extra R$5.00 per person when the horrible band plays, more reason to leave."
