For oceanfront dining with 180-degree beach views, you can’t get much better than QP Bistro, a restaurant burrowed into a cliffside on the west coast. This iconic establishment serves a world-class menu of dishes made with quality ingredients, like coconut shrimps and baja burritos. The space itself is pretty special and has recently been totally revamped; you’ll find private tables overlooking the Caribbean Sea, a swanky cigar lounge and a new, snazzy menu headed up by Michelin-starred chef, Matt Worswick.

Previously known as The Cliff Beach Club and sited next to The Cliff as a sister restaurant, QP Bistro was so named at a time when, under new ownership, The Cliff was to be renamed Quattro Passi. It’s a long story but the decision to rename The Cliff was reversed ahead of reopening, whereas the old Cliff Beach Club had already re-opened under its new name. The setting is still stunning and the décor modern and stylish with the vibe, casual and relaxed which we particularly like.

QP Bistro is one of three sister restaurants on the West Coast – the other two being The Cliff and The Tides. QP Bistro boasts stunning ocean views and gorgeous finishes for the perfect outing with family, friends or a romantic experience just for two. QP Bistro is a popular restaurant located in Payne’s Bay and is part of the more exclusive and expensive renowned celebrity hangout, The Cliff. Offering customers an exceptional dining experience with its unique blend of Caribbean and international cuisines, it has a relaxed and charming ambiance. We love it for its excellent service, delicious food, and incredible setting.

QP Bistro offers a charming, intimate setting with stunning sea views. It’s perfect for smaller weddings where you want to feel close to your guests and the natural beauty of Barbados. The bistro’s cozy, elegant atmosphere is complemented by its location on the west coast, offering breathtaking sunsets as a backdrop for your ceremony and reception.

The Cliff restaurant in Barbados is pretty well known for stunning views and excellent food. It does however come with a bit of a price tag, and given the aforementioned state of sterling, we decided to instead visit it’s Bistro restaurant for lunch. Handily for us it was a ten minute walk from our hotel on the West Coast of the island.
