"We visited Basilea with friends who told us to come along. The restaurant was really good looking, and the service was great. Food was really good (Presidential Mero is outstanding) and we were complemented with a dessert. Chef Margarita was present and helped us with items on the menu, and enhanced some dishes with last-minute tweaks, which proved to be great. In general, this is a great choice for lunch or dinner but beware, prices are the highest we have ever seen in SMR. Very expensive restaurant with excellent service and very good food."

"I do not write a lot of reviews, but this was an outstanding restaurant. A completely different experience and level when compared to the other restaurants in town. The chef Margarita is truly hands on and greets you and walks you through her menu in a lovely way. The restaurant also has the best wine selection in Santa Marta, which is also a rare find.
We had the mushroom risotto, the pepper steak and the grouper Pugliese. Amazing!
In an area of town filled with a lot of touristy restaurants that do not truly focus on the quality of the food, this is a gem and a breath of fresh air. International level cuisine, and a great experience.
