What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Frites Atelier is celebrated for its exceptionally crispy and flavorful fries, often elevated by creative toppings and gourmet sauces created by a renowned chef. While the quality of the food is highly praised, some diners note that the establishment can be small with limited seating, and service occasionally has room for improvement.
"The fries are good, the environment are good, places are good. Special sauce that I’ve never have in any other places, the only down point is just the shop is too small that no much places to sit and chill. It could be better off the fries could get hotter!"

"Fries were delicious with peanut sauce. Unfortunately, the service wasn't good. The order was incorrect and the server said she couldn't give a refund for 15-20 minutes even though we were doing take out. By that time, our food would have been cold. Instead she offered drinks that we didn't need or want."

"Fries as an art. This place is worth visiting.
If you have already tried the classic version of the cultural heritage of Belgium - tender inside and crispy outside fries, then here you will enjoy new tastes.
Sauces are homemade - and you can choose two sauces at once, and not one like in other places. Or choose one of the options for special fries.
We ordered a special fries with parmesan and mayonnaise with basil, as well as fries with truffle and Andalusian sauce.
But keep in mind that there will be queues. There are very few seats in the hall - you will be lucky if there is a free table."

Brussels may be the city best known for its frites, but that hasn't stopped this high-end Dutch friture from muscling in. Created by three-star Michelin chef Sergio Herman, its Antwerp branch was the first in Belgium (now in Ghent and Brussels), and its elaborate sauces, from "deep truffle" to seasonal specials like "olive and Catalan cream," make it something special. places to go in Antwerp - according to what type of person you are
Antwerp is well-known for it’s fries – and although the infamous student spot at Ossenmarkt represents typical “cheap” ones, if you want to try something more delicious go to Frites Atelier – this small place in the southern part of the city center offers affordable fries that are more like potatoes than actual fries. They still taste amazing, though!. My personal tip is to try them with pulled pork and jalapeños – even more delicious!

Considering the country’s reputation for frites, it seems a bit odd that the current most talked about ‘frituur’ in Antwerp actually comes from Amsterdam.
