What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Lobster House is consistently praised for its exceptionally fresh seafood, particularly its namesake lobster and plentiful mussels, often described as perfectly cooked and delicious. Diners also rave about the outstanding and attentive service, with staff frequently mentioned by name for their friendliness and helpfulness. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a few reviewers noted that some items, particularly from the raw bar, did not meet expectations for the price.
"We went through the Google map choosing the restaurant for our dinner. We decided to choose this restaurant based on the reviews and photos. The Escargot is excellent. The Lobster is grilled perfectly with juicy meat and freshness. The Sea Bass is fresh and cooked just right. We are also impressed with the service. They actively replaced my beer after there was a fruit fly diving in the beer. Excellent!"

"I recommend booking in advance, as the place is usually very busy. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and one of the staff members kindly escorted us to our table and turned on a fan since it was a hot day.
Service was courteous and attentive throughout. We were offered fresh bread and butter to start, followed by mussels and salad. I had the mussels Dijonnaise, which were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended if you enjoy mustard-based flavors.
Overall, it was a great dining experience."

"If you’re in Brussels, this is an absolute must-visit restaurant! It’s always been a very famous spot, and now I understand why. The service is truly excellent – the staff are so polite, friendly, and welcoming. They even surprised my children with free ice cream, which made our visit even more special.
The seafood is incredibly fresh and offered at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend the seafood risotto and the cold seafood platter – both were absolutely amazing in flavor and came in generous portions.
I’ve visited many restaurants, but this one really stands out. Between the quality of the food, the warm hospitality, the great value, and its well-earned reputation, it definitely deserves a top review. I would go back without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels!"
