"Really nice food and incredibly warm staff! They were super welcoming to us.
The place was quite busy, probably because the food is so good, so there was a bit of a wait for our order. But it was absolutely worth it!
We got a lovely table in the corner on the second day we went to Wasbar. It had a great view of the street, and everything we ordered was delicious.
Bathrooms are a bit too tight for a busy place, and it has an unpleasant smell, but it was not the "end of the world."
Definitely coming back when we are around next time."

"WASBAR was the perfect place for a light lunch in Ghent, Belgium! We didn’t have much time, just needed a quick bite-but WOW, this place totally surprised us! WASBAR is small and super casual. It looks like a laid-back cafe at first glance, but the food is so much more high-end than I ever expected. The flavors were on point, especially the burrata dip, which was insanely good!
There’s table service available but not super attentive. We waited for someone to cash us out for awhile but realized we had to go up to the counter. Overall, chill vibe, no wait to be seated, and it hit the spot perfectly.
And then there’s the best part: after going upstairs to use the restroom-I found a little laundromat area! Actual washers and dryers where people are doing laundry while sipping coffee or having lunch up there. Hysterical-and kind of genius! I didn’t realize WASBAR is actually a chain in Europe, but now I will be keeping an eye out for more of them.
