One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the picanha, a cut of tender steak, that comes served on a hot grill so it cooks at the table, allowing you to decide how well, or how rare, to cook the meat.

The food is less remarkable than the bar-restaurant's history, but it's a nice place to enjoy a pizza and a beer in the late afternoon, and eagle-eyed visitors may even spot the original Garota de Ipanema herself - Heloisa Pinheiro - who lives nearby and is an occasional visitor to the bar.
