Reviews Summary
Dalva e Dito offers a beautiful ambiance and generally attentive service, with many diners praising Chef Alex Atala's take on traditional Brazilian cuisine. Standout dishes include the Aligot with Filé Mignon and unique desserts, though some reviewers have noted inconsistencies in execution and flavor for certain dishes, leading to a feeling of it not being worth the price for some.
"We went to Dalva and Dito to celebrate my mom and my brother’s birthday. It was a lovely experience. The space is beautiful to start. Airy, open and calming. The service was exceptional. The majority of our group did not speak Portuguese and the servers were so patient with us as we translated back and forth. And most important - The food was delicious. I was so impressed that the restaurant really highlighted traditional Brazilian food - it was beautifully served and absolutely delicious. The beef stew melted in your mouth, the fish was fresh and delicate, and the moqueca was spicy yet approachable for the Americans in the group. They brought out two different cakes, on the house, for the birthdays. Now the crowd favorite was the strawberry meringue with an olive oil and sea salt finish. Absolutely unexpected and delicious. Overall, a 5 star experience for Brazilians and foreigners alike."

"This place is super pretty and came highly recommended by a sales associate at LV. I love the open kitchen. The staff was like a well-oiled machine. The drinks were awesome, and the churro apetizer was my favorite. It tasted like a flauta--a very delicious flauta. We had the Davinha and Perfect Love, and I would order again in a heartbeat.
Food: I had the vegetable rice dish and the steak parmesan. The steak parmesan was good, but it's not something I would reorder. The vegetable dish wasn't for me. I felt like it was heavy bc of the cream sauce, but it lacks the flavors one would expect from such a heavy dish."

"The food was nice, but nothing exceptional for the price. Maybe we should have ordered some other dishes.
The interior is really nice though, with open kitchen and interesting design.
The waiters were helpful and professional."

Upmarket Brazilian food The sister restaurant to the highly successful D.O.M., and run by the same chef, Alex Atala, Dalva e Dito has a much more laid back atmosphere, but is similarly upmarket in quality and pricing. Although the service is good and the space is attractive – decorated from top to toe with an eclectic mix of wooden sculptures, striking murals and brightly coloured tiles – the food is the main attraction. Dishes are typically Brazilian in essence, but with a twist, so you can find delights such as mouthwatering cashew caipirinhas or chocolate and priprioca mousse on the menu, as well as more conventional variants which are equally recommended.
