Renowned as one of the best brunch and lunch spots in town, Footprint Cafe goes beyond culinary excellence.

Footprint Cafes Hub is a coworking space and a nice little café in one. The coworking space is upstairs, although members can also work from the café downstairs if they don’t mind the noise. This place often hosts workshops and events, so you may have to choose another spot to work from if you want to avoid the crowd.

We stumbled upon Footprint by accident one evening and the book-lined interior made us go back the next day!. The first in a chain of social enterprise cafes, Footprint donates 100% of its profits to grants for educational projects. It very much caters to Western tourists and was full of people working away on laptops.

For literature lovers, look no further than Footprint Cafe, with its towering bookcases bursting with English language titles. Impressively, owner Georgina Hemingway had over 8000 books shipped over from Cambridge in England. Thus you surely won’t have to worry about running out of titles anytime soon.

This was my favourite cafe on Street 26, near Siem Reap’s river. I loved the concept of a restaurant within a bookstore where travellers can enjoy a meal and then leave with a book. The Footprint Cafe is supported by a charity and managed by local staff, making it a viable self-sustained business.

Across the river on Street 26 is Footprint Cafe, located next door to Miss Wong Cocktail Bar, and across the street from Banlle Vegetarian Restaurant. We had hoped to make it here for coffee but were just not able due to timing. This cafe gets great reviews and is working to help the community.
