Reviews Summary

Nourish Bistro is celebrated for its inventive and delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes, with many reviewers praising the unique flavors and generous portions. The creative cocktails and pleasant atmosphere, especially the outdoor patio, are also highlights. While some find the prices a bit high, the quality and uniqueness of the food generally make it a worthwhile experience.

"We tried this place for the first time after arriving in Banff and were blown away. We ordered the Boss Bear Burger and the Exotic Wild Mushroom Ravioli — both were absolutely delicious. The food was so good that we made sure to come back for brunch before leaving. This time, we had the Mountain Breakfast Skillet and the Nourish Omelette, and they were incredible and so filling. Honestly, this is hands down the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. The flavours, the quality, the service — everything was incredible. Caleb, the owner was super nice and ensured we had the best time ever. Highly recommend!"

"A Vegetarian Delight in the Rockies
If you're looking for the best vegetarian food in Banff, Nourish Bistro is the place to be. The Big Bear Burger was absolutely delicious — flavorful, hearty, and satisfying even for non-vegetarians. They also offer a great variety of fruity beers and creative cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy, nature-inspired ambiance adds to the overall experience. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and uniqueness of the dishes make it worth it.

Make sure to book in advance as it could be very busy."

Parth Patel

"We’re not vegan, but we always love trying vegan food and Nourish did not disappoint! We saw great reviews and decided to check it out. The food was honestly amazing. We loved everything we ordered, and the cocktails were just as good.

Only thing that threw us off a bit was that we weren’t done with our food (we still had fries and few bites left), and one of the staff just picked up our plates without asking if we were done. That felt a little off, to be honest.

But apart from that, the rest of the staff was nice, and the vibe was good. If you’re vegan or just curious to try vegan food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Loved their in-house burgers, highly recommend!"

Vegan in Banff: A Guide for a Quick Getaway

Nourish is Banff’s only completely vegetarian restaurant (with almost all of the dishes being veganizable) and has a menu with far-reaching influences, from Southern comfort food, pan-Asian cuisine, and even a little Italian fare thrown in there. While the price point is definitely higher than a lot of other restaurants in town, there’s plenty of dishes that set Nourish apart, like the build-your-own-charcuterie board, with locally handcrafted cheese and mushroom-stuffed ravioli drowning in a cashew milk-based cream sauce. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere has a fun funky flair, and there’s plenty of creative cocktails and craft beers available from the bar.
