"Absolutely amazing!!! Visited for the first time with my sister and everything was wonderful. Mike the bartender was so charming and kind. Mr Shaw that musician made the night even more special. We had the fries ("chips") that came with a delicious House-made ketchup.
The chicken liver Pâté and rye bread was yummy and a big portion for one person. Good for sharing
If you can, sit at the bar, make friends with the locals and bartender as they'll make you feel like home.

"As someone who has tried a LOT of fish and chips all over Canada, this was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The batter was unbelievably crispy and white fish was thick and buttery soft. Brussel sprouts were a hit, with a creamy tahini dressing. My partner enjoyed the bangers and mash. It was flavourful and the mash had a deep gravy with tons of caramelized onions. Eaton mess for dessert was decadent yet refreshing, the perfect finale. The homemade ketchup and tartare sauce were great touches. Service was also exemplary, everyone was so friendly and made us feel right at home :)"

It's a very small cozy place with great service. The restaurant itself has a friends basement atmosphere.
I had the fish and chips, which was good... But the batter was a little heavy. The coleslaw was very good and the chips were amazing
The Caesar salad dressing was very good, but the pork belly wasn't cooked long enough.
