What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Customers rave about the delicious, freshly baked goods, especially the apple fritters and Chelsea buns, highlighting the taste and presentation. However, some reviewers note that the service can be unfriendly or unhelpful, and the bakery can get quite crowded at peak times. Despite these points, many consider it a destination worth traveling for.
"It is worth the 600 km drive round trip to Gravenhurst just to stop at this bakery.
Everything looked amazing and was delightfully presented, the service was friendly and quick, there was a lineup which was understandable considering how good everything is here.
From pies to butter tarts, donuts to bread, meat pies to sausage rolls, everything looked wonderful"

"As far as bakeries go, this one on/around Lake Muskoka has the donuts, IMO.
Delightful. They taste wonderful, and though it's hard to stop at one, a second may be 'too' many! Such sweet extravagances!
Finally, a bakery that doesn't skrimp on donut size like nearly all others. And the chocolate donuts actually do taste chocolatey.
Yes, they have numerous other pastry offerings, none of them burnt!
There were two picnic tables around the side of the building, and Gull Lake Park nearby... if you can wait that long to inhale.
Only for the sweet of tooth..."

"If I lived in the area I’d be here daily. The moment I walked in the smell was heavenly. The apple fritter is perfect. This is what a fritter is supposed to be. There’s crunchy bits and the inside is fluffy fresh goodness. Can’t wait to come back"
