What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rapscallion & Co. garners praise for its unique culinary creations, vibrant atmosphere, and attentive service, making it a memorable spot for celebrations. However, some diners have found certain dishes to be mediocre or overpriced for the portion size, and a few have experienced issues with reservations.
"Unforgettable Dining at Rapscillion
We recently had the pleasure of celebrating both a birthday and Mother's Day at Rapscillion, and it was nothing short of exceptional. We kicked things off with the whipped feta – a rich, velvety delight with just the right amount of tang, perfect for sharing. The cocktails were a standout, crafted with precision and bursting with flavor, setting the tone for an unforgettable meal.
For the main event, we opted for the Sunday special, the trio pork fest. It was a meat lover’s dream – expertly cooked, full of bold flavors, and beautifully presented. It’s a must-try if you’re a fan of savory, hearty dishes.
To wrap things up, we chose the vanilla dessert option, which was a light yet satisfying finale – the perfect sweet note to end a memorable evening.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the whole experience felt special from start to finish. We left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs. Can’t wait to return!"

"The food was mediocre, though the service and atmosphere were nice. The trout I ordered was very dry, and the bean purée was spicy, despite being told it wouldn’t be. The lamb was mostly fat (my mom couldn't eat it)—probably because it was a belly cut—and the potatoes it came with were not great. The steak was good (can't compare with Keg's hough), so were the fries. The Thai stuffed wings were good (but only if you like spicy food).
As for drinks, I had the Alex Sour. It wasn't as sour as I expected but I'd consider it a good cocktail (it's $18 but you can actually taste the whisky)."

"We came here for dinner to celebrate our wedding day and it was to die for!
Ahead of our day, I emailed the restaurant to see if they could plan a set course menu with cocktail pairings for just the two of us, and the team did no disappoint. They were extremely considerate about our food allergies, preferences and budget, and surprised us with such a wonderful evening in a private little room.
Our server was an an absolute gem, so knowledgeable and gave us the perfect amount of privacy.
It's hard to pick a favourite dish or drink of the night because they were all just that good, but some stand outs were the stuffed chicken wings - so rich and perfectly fatty. The cucumber mignonet with the oysters was incredible - I actually just ate the rest of it with a fork when we ran out of oysters. The twist on the New York sour was wildly delicious, easily in my list of all time favourites.
Also some great tunes were playing and perfect lighting!
Everything was a hit, the perfect way to cap off our wedding day! We'll likely be back every anniversary."
