Reviews Summary

Little Brick is celebrated for its charming atmosphere within a historic house and its fresh, reasonably priced fare. Diners rave about the delicious food, particularly the breakfast sandwich and baked goods, and appreciate the friendly service. While the cozy space can get busy, the inviting outdoor seating and overall pleasant vibe make it a beloved local spot.

"Great little cafe in a historic building.

Food was tasty, coffee made right and the service was great from all of the staff and servers.

Busy so some wait time may be needed for an indoor spot and parking in the area isnt too bad with clean sidewalks to walk to the venue.

Food and drinks were $47 after tax, but that seems to be the new normal for a couple of coffees and some light breakfast items. They were out of thick cut bacon today, but we did show up a little later in the morning."

Kyle Ex

"I had the pleasure of photographing an intimate wedding at Little Brick Café last year, and it was such a cozy, warm, and beautiful setting—perfect for couples looking for a charming outdoor space. The golden hour light created a truly magical atmosphere, and the photos turned out beautifully.

The food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making the experience even more memorable. Little Brick is a hidden gem for intimate weddings, and an absolute joy to capture."

Yuki Nakano

"We stopped by Little Brick for a flat white and a chai, and absolutely loved it! The coffee was great, and the chai was warm and comforting. The space itself is incredibly charming, cozy interiors with thoughtful decor, and a relaxed outdoor seating area that adds to the inviting vibe. The atmosphere was energetic but not overwhelming, making it a perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Since it's close to our neighborhood, this definitely won’t be our last visit. Looking forward to coming back soon!"

It’s unassuming location is what makes it all the more intriguing, with a large, seated outdoor patio area with tables and chairs, a mix of outside and undercover with bike stands to hook your bike up, Little brick cafe makes a name for itself as one of the best coffee shops in Edmonton. Little Brick regularly changes hands when it comes to coffee beans, however the last time we were there they were using Henrique Dias Combraia in Minas Gerais, from Brazil.

Edmonton Best Restaurants 2015: Bloggers Dish On Year's Best New Eateries

Little Brick is a fantastic cafe located right on the river valley trail system, in a historic central Edmonton neighbourhood. The space itself is a heritage house that has been beautifully restored, and also has a large outdoor seating space where the cafe also grows their own herbs and salad greens. The food is simple, yet delicious, with an emphasis on freshness and quality. Dishes like a ricotta tartine, with cherry tomato and thyme, or a duck breast with crispy potato pave, apple fennel slaw, and saskatoon berry, make it obvious this isn't your typical cafe lunch.
