"A quiet gem of a restaurant with wonderful cuisine and ambience, in a beautiful, quiet setting by the river. We've been coming here for years, and our son and his fiance chose it for their wedding venue. The wedding was held on June 7/25 - there 80 people in attendance. Honestly, we cannot think of a single thing we would change. The food was delicious (mains were lamb shank, salmon and chicken), the service was perfect, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We had great weather so we made good use of the outdoor patio (where the vows were done earlier in the day). I was concerned the space might be a bit small for 80, but we could easily have managed more. I cannot express how happy we were all were - the staff here are simply the best - clearly they love their work and we could tell how important it was to each and every one of them to make this day special. Mission accomplished! I might also add - given the level of service, the private and luxurious setting, and gourmet cuisine - quite affordable!"

"We had lunch yesterday. It was a lovely venue. The waiter was fantastic.
I was disappointed in the food. I ordered the braised tenderloin sandwich which was very tough. Definitely not braised tender like you would expect. Good way to ruin a piece of tenderloin if that is what it was. The side salad was good
My husband had fish and chips which he enjoyed.
I would go back again but order something different"
