What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tir Nan Og is praised for its authentic Irish pub atmosphere, lively entertainment including live music and karaoke, and generous portions of classic pub fare. While many appreciate the friendly service and cozy heritage building, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality, particularly with gluten-free options, and changes to the menu that have moved away from traditional Irish dishes.
"This old school Irish pub is a great place to chill. We got the table in the front beside the bar. The bartender was very friendly and funny. He made sure we were comfortable and shared some laughs with us. The food was also good. We got a Mushroom and beef pie and Grilled Cheese with jalapeno and banana peppers. It’s located right in the downtown so you can walk around and have a good time there."

"Food was okay, everyone liked their dishes except for me. I had the bacon cheeseburger on a gluten free bun. The fries weren’t very hot, and the bun fell apart. My patty was a little dry, but it was a big hearty burger. The service was okay, and they had a dog friendly patio. They brought out dog bowls with water for our dogs, which was nice. Overall good, but I think the gluten free options need a bit of work."

"Food was tasty pub fare. Service was excellent. Sitting on the patio is nice...not sure what was going on inside though. Looked a little disorganized but maybe they're doing something to rearrange or redo? Either way, decent place!"
