Reviews Summary
Gon Bui offers a visually stunning ambiance with a creative Chinese-Montrealer fusion menu, particularly praised for its inventive brunch and unique cocktails. While many rave about the flavors and presentation, some diners have noted that certain dishes can be hit or miss, and service can occasionally be overwhelmed during busy periods.
"The food was surprisingly delicious and well-portioned. It’s best to visit with a group so you can sample a variety of dishes. A must is the Chinatown Scallops & Beef Tataki
The drinks were amazing!
My favorite was the Espresso Martini topped with crème brûlée—just wow! Then there’s the Pandan La Nuit drink, which has a subtle hint of sourness. Not too sweet, just perfectly balanced and refreshing. And if you want have some shots: Asian Blush & Hot Mess are good too.
Service was excellent."

"It's been a while since i wanted to try this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. It is more of a tapas sharing type place, which is perfect for trying different dishes. We ordered 6 dishes for 3 people, and every dish was filled with flavored. The drinks were great as well. Monday's there are deals on their sangrias.
The only negative part was that we wanted to order more, but the restaurant became busy, and they seemed overwhelmed. But when definitely give it a second try."

"FANTASTIC restaurant. The food, the drinks and the service were all spectacular. I ordered a lot and loved every single bite. The Hong Kong curry is an absolute must-have.
I will be coming back to try more cocktails. 😅😁😍
Absolutely loved the hostess (very warm and welcoming) and a big thank you to my waiter, Clark. The service was timely and efficient.
Nothing bad to say here. Gon Bui was awesome."
