Reviews Summary

La Petite Cachée is celebrated for its cozy, rustic ambiance and exceptional service, creating a memorable dining experience, especially for special occasions. While many rave about dishes like the Tomahawk steak and ribs, some diners have noted inconsistencies in seasoning, with one review specifically mentioning overly salty cauliflower cream and a burnt crème brûlée. Despite minor culinary critiques, the overall sentiment highlights a strong desire to return for the atmosphere and attentive staff.

"My wife and I had a delicious dinner in a cozy environment with great service. Menu offered a nice selection of offerings professionally plated. Although not on the "by the glass" choices, I indicated my desire for a Sauternes wine to accompany the foie gras. Our waiter gladly obliged. Would definitely return!"

"We chose La Petite Cachée to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with something special. And “something special” is precisely what they delivered. The rustic décor was matched by warm lighting and a very friendly, engaging staff that greeted us upon our arrival. We had already decided to share the Tomahawk beef rib for two, which was an absolute treat to the senses. We paired this with a bottle of David Moreno Gran Reservation 2015, which o thought was a perfect match. The staff - all of them - were so kind, so helpful and willing to chat us up a little, it was the perfect seasoning to our culinary experience. I’m so glad we chose La Petite Cachée! We are coming back and we are telling our friends."

"This restaurant offers a truly pleasant dining experience with excellent service and a great atmosphere. The staff were attentive and the ambiance was wonderful, making for an enjoyable evening.
However, one significant issue marred the culinary experience: the cauliflower cream was noticeably salty. While the staff offered an apology when this was brought to their attention, no further action was taken to rectify the situation, which was a bit disappointing.
I would strongly recommend that the chef re-evaluates and reduces the amount of salt used in their dishes to ensure a more balanced and enjoyable flavor profile for all diners. Also on a side note the creme brûlée surag was so burnt that it was sower and not tasty at all. After what happened with the soup I just did not report it."

Guests feel transported back in time when they pull up a chair inside the rustic log cabin, complete with brick fireplace and wood furniture throughout. The menu at La Petite Cachée is Mediterranean-focused: grilled octopus on greek salad, mushroom potage, Basque-style cornish hen, seafood pasta, pan-seared sea bass, fennel salad, chorizo pizza, marinated grilled hanger beef steak and stuffed portobello mushrooms. For a dessert that’s a dual fix of sugar and caffeine, wrap up your meal with the Affogato: Baileys Irish Cream poured over homemade ice cream, with a splash of espresso.
