The restaurant is converting even non-seafood enthusiasts into fans with its fantastic menu, which includes an excellent selection of local wines and beers. Everything is produced in-house, from the seafood chowder and lobster rolls, to the fresh oysters, served alongside grated horseradish, mignonette and Scotch bonnet hot sauce.

Serving the best in seafood and local wines, Tide & Vine oyster house started life as a VW food truck, and quality has remained a constant on this eatery’s journey. The oysters here are great, while other favorites include lobster mac ‘n cheese and pan-seared scallops and pork.

Tide and Vine started in 2012 when a couple bought a 1974 yellow VW bus and started selling fresh oysters out of it. After traveling through all of Niagara and establishing lots of loyal customers, they opened up their oyster bar near the falls!. This one of a kind oyster bar serves up bacon wrapped oysters, buffalo flavored oysters and all types of unique seafood dishes.

As the name implies, the Tide&Vine Oyster House honours oysters and all products that can come from the sea. With a wide variety of recipes and a strong focus on seafood, Tide&Vine Oyster House is a great experience for tourists who come to visit the Falls and want to enjoy a first-class product. Every June, this restaurant holds an oyster festival, its signature dish.

At the time of writing they are also the only oyster bar in Niagara Falls and are recommended by almost every food guide to the city. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the Niagara Region, and definitely the top spot I’d recommend for seafood. A few of my go-to dishes are freshly shucked oysters, steamed mussels, and house-smoked salmon. If you visit during the week between 3 p.m.

The Irish Harp gets busy in the evenings and it’s for good reason: live music, a mix of traditional and contemporary, and their fish and chips. Toss in a Snakebite (half cider, half Harp lager) and you’re in for a delightful evening.

Don’t be confused by its name because it’s not a vine oyster house. It is a place where people can have outdoor dining. The foods here are tasty and available at a reasonable price as well.
