"Friendly restaurant with a clean and modern interior, and exceptional service. Sadly the food doesn't stand out and wasn't consistently good. I had the Cesar salad as an appetizer, which was excellent, but the Black Lager Cottage pie was quite small and had more potato than filling. In our group, the calamari was excellent but then the batter on the fish and chips was thick, dense and had soaked up a lot of oil. Additionally the tofu was also very dense and hard to enjoy. While our food experience was hit and miss, I do have to recognize the service, which was exceptional."

"Had a really nice experience at The Garrison House in Niagara on the Lake. Their Lamb Shoulder dish was excellent…everything you want in a dish like this, really tender with amazing flavours.
For dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding…Yum! Best I’ve had outside of England (and my grandma’s, of course) 😉 Big thank you to Margaret, our server, for a wonderful experience. 💕"
